Monetization Consent Clause

By using amai Bulk Discount, amai Upsell+, amai Local Pickup & Delivery, amai Store Locator, or amai Urgency+ (collectively or individually, the “App”), you, the Shopify merchant (“Merchant”), agree to the integration of third-party advertisements (“Monetization Partners”) in your store. These ads may be shown to your customers in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada as part of the App’s monetization model. By continuing to use the free version of the App, you consent to this advertising program.
Revenue Sharing Agreement

As a participant in the advertising monetization program, you agree that any revenue generated from ads displayed in your store will be shared between the App developer and Monetization Partners. You will not receive a share of this revenue, as it is part of the agreement for using the free version of the App.
Advertising Content and Compliance

Advertisements displayed through the App are managed by third-party Monetization Partners. The Developer and Monetization Partners ensure ad content complies with Shopify’s policies and applicable platform rules. However, the Merchant is responsible for ensuring their store complies with Shopify’s guidelines and local laws. Neither the Developer nor Monetization Partners will be liable for any claims related to ad content.
Opt-Out for Paid Versions

Merchants using the free version automatically agree to the advertising program. Merchants subscribed to a paid version will have the ads disabled automatically.
Data Privacy and Compliance

To provide targeted ads, Monetization Partners may use anonymized data related to store customer activities. No personal data will be collected without explicit customer consent. Merchants must ensure they obtain necessary customer consents, complying with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
Developer Fee and Advertising Conditions

The Developer may charge a fee for paid versions of the App. This fee may be linked to features like ad opt-outs or enhanced functionality. Ads will only appear in the free versions of the App, and any revenue generated will be shared between the Developer and Monetization Partners.
